Our story
Sales has always been a craft: but for too long, reps have been left to figure it out on their own. Scattered notes, last-minute prep, generic training that doesn’t reflect the real conversations happening in the field. Backdrop changes that. We built a platform that meets reps where the work actually happens. Before the call, on the call, and after it.
Our background is technology sales, where we see the dependence on sales engineers, the real (and justifiable) difficulty selling to savvy, techy, buyers and the unfairness when it comes to hitting quota for sellers that aren’t onboarded yet.
