Apollo Integration: Bring Prospect Data Into Calls

Connect your Apollo seat to Backdrop. Read-only access to the prospects, sequences, and engagement your seat can see. Never spends Apollo credits.

With Apollo connected, Backdrop knows who you're talking to before you ask: the prospect's record, the sequences they're in, and how they've engaged.

What Backdrop can read

Backdrop can read the prospects, sequences, and engagement analytics your Apollo seat can see. Access is read-only: Backdrop never creates, edits, or deletes anything in Apollo, and only you can use the connection.

Before you start

No credits spent. Backdrop only uses Apollo's free lookups. It never runs an enrichment or match that spends your Apollo credits.

Connect Apollo

In the Backdrop app, open Knowledge from the sidebar.
Find Apollo and click Connect on its card.
In the Personal row, click Connect. Your browser opens the Apollo sign-in page.
Sign in to Apollo and approve access.

When the Apollo card turns green and reads For you, you're connected.

Apollo's approval screen may name the connecting app as a Nango client rather than Backdrop. Nango is the service Backdrop uses to manage connections, so this is expected.

Disconnect Apollo

Open Knowledge and click Manage on the Apollo card.
In the Personal row, click Disconnect, then confirm.

Backdrop stops reading Apollo on your behalf. If something isn't working, see troubleshooting.
