Fireflies Integration: Past Meetings on Every Call
Connect your Fireflies account to Backdrop. Read-only access to your meeting transcripts and summaries, so the last conversation informs the next.
With Fireflies connected, Backdrop can recall your earlier conversations with a prospect: what they asked, what they pushed back on, and what you promised.
What Backdrop can read
Backdrop can read the meeting transcripts and summaries your Fireflies account can see. Access is read-only: Backdrop never creates, edits, or deletes anything in Fireflies, and only you can use the connection.
Before you start
- Search depends on your Fireflies plan. Searching across meetings only works if your Fireflies account includes search. Without it, Backdrop can still read your transcripts.
Connect Fireflies
- In the Backdrop app, open Knowledge from the sidebar.
- Find Fireflies and click Connect on its card.
- In the Personal row, click Connect. Your browser opens the Fireflies sign-in page.
- Sign in to Fireflies and approve access.
When the Fireflies card turns green and reads For you, you're connected.
Disconnect Fireflies
- Open Knowledge and click Manage on the Fireflies card.
- In the Personal row, click Disconnect, then confirm.
Backdrop stops reading Fireflies on your behalf. If something isn't working, see troubleshooting.
