Notion Personal Integration: Your Pages on Every Call
Connect your own Notion account to Backdrop. Read-only access to the pages, databases, and comments you can see, searched on your behalf during calls.
With your own Notion account connected, the pages you rely on, like account plans, deal notes, and your own talk tracks, are searchable from Backdrop.
What Backdrop can read
Backdrop can read the pages, databases, and comments your Notion account can see. Access is read-only: Backdrop never creates, edits, or deletes anything in Notion, and only you can use the connection.
Connecting Notion for your whole team?
This page connects your own account. To make a shared Notion workspace a knowledge source for everyone, an admin sets up the enterprise Notion integration.
Connect Notion
- In the Backdrop app, open Knowledge from the sidebar.
- Find Notion and click Connect on its card.
- In the Personal row, click Connect. Your browser opens the Notion sign-in page.
- Sign in to Notion and approve access.
When the Notion card turns green and reads For you, you're connected.
Notion's approval screen reads Grant api.nango.dev access to Notion. Nango is the service Backdrop uses to manage connections, so this is expected.
Disconnect Notion
- Open Knowledge and click Manage on the Notion card.
- In the Personal row, click Disconnect, then confirm.
Backdrop stops reading Notion on your behalf. If something isn't working, see troubleshooting.
